Hi my name is Scooby 'cuz my Foster Mom thinks I kind of look like him even though I am a girl. I have some lab in me and my mom thinks even maybe some Dane, but we are not sure. I am a year old and I love other animals. I have Miniature Horses, big horses, cats and dogs all around me and I love them all. I have a nice yard and when mom lets me out to run a little I don't leave the property. I stay right with her. I love people and just want someone who will let me hang out with them and not shut me out in a yard or tie me up and not love on me. I get to come inside a lot too and I am crate trained. I never make a mess in my crate or my big dog run outside. I am spayed and up to date on all my shots and I really want a 'forever' home to settle down in. About Our Rescue Group...

The Grainger County Humane Society receives NO funding from our local government or other outside sources. The Humane Society exists on donations from private individuals, businesses and our volunteers' efforts. We DO NOT have an Animal Shelter or an Animal Control Officer. ALL work is done by our wonderful volunteers. Our long term goal and dream is to have a Shelter and an Animal Control Officer. We desperatly need Foster Homes, please help us out if you can.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees are $100.00 for Dogs or Cats. Senior Citizens (65 or older)get a special rate of $75.00.

Our contract can be seen on our website: www.graingercountyhumanesociety.org.

We also have a special foster and adoption process for our Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes to ensure they go to good loving homes. They all must be micro-chipped at the time of adoption. For further information on Pit Bull Rescue you may call 865 767-3738 or email timssquaw@hotmail.com.
