Janey's story...
Please contact Anna (annaotat@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.

This adorable girl has sure had a rough few months. When Janey was found by an off duty police officer she had such a severe leg injury that her bone was sticking out. Though we will never know for sure, it appears that Janey was hit by a car and left to suffer. Thankfully, the officer who found her took her to an area shelter where she received lots of tlc. Despite her stellar recovery, if rescue could not be found then Janey was going to be euthanized due to her breed. When our intake director met this sweet peanut, she was full of wiggles, kisses, and playfulness.
In addition to enjoying her time socializing with people, Janey is also fun and playful with other pups. At around one-year-old, Janey does have a lot of energy and would do best in an active household.
This sweet girl has been through a lot in her young life, and now she would like nothing more than a wonderful forever home.
Janey needs a foster home too!
As with all One Tail at a Time dogs, Janey is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Her adoption fee is $200.

If you are interested in Janey, please e-mail Anna at annaotat@gmail.com. Please go to www.onetail.org to see all the wonderful dogs awaiting forever homes.

About Our Rescue Group...
One Tail at a Time is an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue based in the Chicagoland area. Working with a growing community of dedicated volunteers and foster homes, as well as boarding and daycare facilities, we are able to rescue animals from potential euthanasia and help lower overpopulation in area shelters.

We focus on finding permanent homes for our dogs by working to match the lifestyles of potential adopters with each dog's personality and needs. This, combined with our commitment to providing new adopters with education and support for the life of their dog, ensures that more dogs stay in their new homes permanently, reducing the number of pets that are returned to the rescue or shelters each year. All of our dogs are adopted fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
