Dusty's story...

His Personality: I am a playful loving boy that has lots of energy! I need exercise and people who will be patient with me. I can be nervous around new people and situations, but give me the necessary time and I relax.
Toys and things he likes: I am active! I like to play with my canine buddy. I’d love to go on long walks if someone is willing to teach me how to walk nicely on a leash. I do like to chew and play tug. I LOVE to chase grasshoppers and other bugs—I am very entertaining!
His forever home: I am a really good dog. I would like a nice, quiet family that has the time to love me and help me feel secure.
Sociability with other dogs/cats/kids: I get along great with my current canine buddy, but I can be wary of dogs I don’t know. I’d like a friend that will help me learn the ropes. I haven’t been around cats at all. I get along with children, but its probably best if my home has older children that will understand my sensitivities.
I would do best in a home with another dog and older children (probably no cats). I'd like a home with understanding parents who will make sure I get the exercise and attention I need.
