| Chainsaw was so christened on the day she came to us from her abusive home. She was unhappy and unplaesant to say the least, but she was justified. Her former person was more than unkind to her - he was downright abusive - and she was so young - just a baby really. She's about a year old now (DOB ~9/1/08, arrived CK 5/09), and we weren't sure she'd be okay. But she is okay. She startles somewhat at loud noises or touches she's not expecting. When this happens, she generally hisses and runs away. It's so pitiful. She's not a fan of the dog (much bigger than her) or most of the cats, although she will play with the kittens sometimes. She is a fan of her people - despite what others did to her. We think she'll need an adjustment period when she leaves us, but we are confident she'll be as loving in a new home as she has become here. We can't sit at the computer without her jumping in our laps. And she gives kisses - on the chin, cheek, nose (and lips, if you let her - eww). Can you finish the job we started and give Chainsaw the loving home she was denied as a baby? Sterilized and MICROCHIPPED. Sliding scale adoption fee applies. |
