Olive Oil's Story...
Olive Oil is a sweet loving dog that is housebroken and well mannered. She has been in a home for three years and is well socialized. Her little flaw is that she is so smart she gets bored and gets out of the yard. If you can spend time with a smart loving dog, consider Olive Oil! Olive Oil's care and feed have been sponsored by her Business Buddy : CLAYTEX TROPHIES

About Our Shelter...
We are a small group of volunteers adopting out and caring for dogs and cats from Clay County that are in need of homes.
Come Meet Our Pets...
A staffer is usually available seven days a week from 9:00 until noon and afternoons by appointment, but calling prior to your visit is recommended. Our phone number is (940) 538-6757. We have an answering machine and return all calls as soon as time permits. Please leave your name, phone number and a brief message about your business so that your call can be routed to the appropriate volunteer. All calls are returned, but if you don't hear from us, please call again. Sometimes messages (especially those from cell phones) are garbled.
Our Adoption Process...
All animals are altered and vaccinated before being put up for adoption. Dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested. Cats are both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus tested negative.

All steps in the adoption process are aimed at making a good match between pet and adopter. If you visit or call the Shelter and express an interest in one of our residents, you will be asked to complete an application form (or this can be done over the phone). Your application will be processed as soon as possible - adoptions are vital to our residents and to us! The adopter's agreement with the Shelter is to keep the pet safe, loved and current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
