Meet 'Ginger', a 2-3 yr. old Red Tick Coon Hound, and a beautiful one at that ! Ginger is not a hunter, as she is gun shy, but she would make an awesome family pet, as she loves people, children, other dogs, and really doesn't mind or bother cats. She is spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative,frontlined, and UTD on all her vaccines, as well as dewormed. She has overcome some fearful tendencies she had when she came in, and now knows that people can be kind and loving, which really confused her in the beginning. We don't think she received a lot of that, wherever she came from. Ginger would love an active family with children and at least one other dog (one that will be good to her)to play with, and lots of walks, and hopefully a fenced in area so she can run . . . she LOVES to run, so maybe a jogging partner would make her happy, too !
