| Minnie was surrendered back in May 2008 because her owner couldn't afford to treat her diarrhea. She was since adopted and against are policy...passed around to two other homes for unknown reasons then finally brought back because her last owner was moving and couldn't take her. She is estimated to be born around November of 2007. We aren't exactly sure what she is mixed with but she is 30 lbs and looks like a miniature Rottweiler! She is very sweet, but a little shy when first meeting someone. She loves attention and playing with other dogs. All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application, and agree with and sign an adoption agreement including keeping cats/kittens strictly indoors. Potential adopters are then approved or not approved by the adoption coordinatior and contacted with the final decision. Cats and kittens are tested for FeLV & FIV and dogs over 6 months are tested for Heartworms. The adoption fee includes the animals up to date vaccines, spay/neuter, deworming and a dose of flea and heartworm prevention to go home. All cats, kittens and dogs are spayed/neutered before going to their new home. Puppies are to be brought back by their adopter to be spayed/neutered when of age/weight. |
