Buddy's story...
Buddy is a one and a half year old male black lab/blue heeler mix that was returned to the shelter because his owners weren't fully prepared for all the exercise he needed. They claim that "he needs a farm home" which is a common misconception, as many dogs just need a long daily walk or a brisk jog in the morning and evening to keep them under control. Buddy is definitely a high energy boy and will need a thorough training refresher to help him relearn the commands he knows. He's decent on a leash, but because he's not neutered tends to pull to mark on things. Neutering will help decrease this. Buddy just needs someone special who can take the time to help him flourish! Buddy is good with other animals, and is okay with kids.
