Dixie is a beautiful 2 year old female tree walking coonhound mix that has been at the shelter since August 09. Her previous owner did not take very good care of her, so she needs a bit of TLC and extra help to move her along, but she is doing better every day. She seems to get along well with other dogs. She would probably do better in a home with older children, as she can be skittish around younger kids. She hasn't shown any aggression, but it's not fair for her to go to a home where she would be uncomfortable. For more on Dixie call the shelter at 382-4832 or send us an email at ccha@centurytel.net.
