ALLIE 3 was found as a stray right here in Lewisburg, TN where she is also being fostered. A good samitarian turned her over to us because she knew we'd find her a good home. Allie is all puppy and still working on house-training. You must have the patience to see it thru. Most dachshunds are given up because the owners do not have the patience nor are the consistant in there training to get a dachshund trained. To be a true dachshund lover you have to understand the breed and know that not all dachshunds may ever be completely house trained.
ALLIE 3 loves to play with the other fosters and also likes toys. She still has the puppy teeth so she has to be watched that she's not chewing on what she is not supposed to. She was pretty wild acting when she first came to us but has settled down and at night likes to set in foster dad's lap while he watches TV. If you are looking for a puppy then consider ALLIE 3. She does need a fenced in yard and another young dog to play with.
