Hello my name is Cookie. My owner could no longer keep me and some nice people found me at a park. I am a very sweet boy and the volunteers adore me. They noticed that I was not walking correctly and took me to the doctor. I need to have surgery on both my rear legs. Thank goodness for angels as now I will see a specialist. I will have to be in foster care while I recover. The whole process may take 6 months. Then I will be ready for my forever home. If you have had a pup who has had ACL surgery and have gone through the recovery, I can be adopted now and the medical will be covered. I know I would heal so much quicker with my own forever family. Though if you think it will be too much and you are still interested in me, I don't mind waiting for you. I should be ready by March 2010. I know it's alot to ask for you to wait for me, but I really am worth it.
