Cowboy's Story...
Cowboy (named after his cow markings) is being uprooted from his home due to financial reasons. His owner is now pregnant and in order to make ends meet, the family is moving back in with her mother who owns a male pit that does not get along with Jackson. If we cannot locate a home for him, the family is going to euthanize him on or before October 30, 2009. Cowboy is a good dog that wants very much to be your companion. He can be your path to health as you walk and exercise him, it will be good for you too. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, housebroken and probably is best as an only pet.

About Our Rescue Group...
Rescue pets from abuse and neglect. We love dogs and often live with them prior to adoption to take as much of the guesswork out of placing pets as possible. When I approached the dynamic of adopting a shelter pet, I approached the problem as an adopter and not a rescuer. I don't want to be bitten either. So, we live with them. Usually for about two weeks. If they make us nervous (we have tons of experience) chances are, the pet is not suitable for adoption. If we fall in love, we know you will! We will tell you everything we know - that may scare you off, but hopefully, it will leave you assured our pets are what we represent. We get it right far more often than not. When we get it wrong, we will take our dog back, welcome your comments, and place the pet in the best home for that pet.

Our Adoption Process...
We will ask you to complete an application. We may or may not require a home visit. Our donation requests depend on the pet. Most are $75.00; however puppies and kittens are more. The profit we make on the puppies and kittens offsets the medical costs of the larger, older pets.
