Cassidy was one of the kitties that came from Louisville Metro during the flood. His right front leg was broken but had already started to heal so it was too late for a cast or surgery. We named Cassidy after Hopalong Cassidy because he will always have a little limp because his leg healed 'funny,' but you'd never know it from the way he runs around playing. He is a small boy, about 16-18 weeks old, but he has a big personality. He demands attention and cuddles and if he doesn't get them, he protests with loud gravely meows. He loves being a lap cat and is ready for a forever INDOOR home with 'parents' who will keep an eye on his leg to make sure it doesn't cause him any future problems. He is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. This cowboy is ready to ride shotgun with you!

About Our Rescue Group...
Holly’s Place Animal Rescue is dedicated to helping solve the problem of homeless dogs and cats and improving the quality of life for all companion animals. Holly’s Place works closely with humane societies, animal shelters, and rescue groups to help insure a brighter future for our animal friends.

We generally focus on pulling dogs & cats from shelters when their time is up, and we concentrate on training & socialization in foster care prior to rehoming.

As our pets are in various foster homes, please call or email to schedule a meeting or to find out the dates of our portable adoption days.
Our Adoption Process...
Fees are:

Dogs- $90 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm testing, deworming, microchip, and usually are current on heartworm preventative & frontline.

Cats- $70 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, feline leukemia and FIV testing, deworming, microchip, and usually are current on frontline.
