Xena's story...
Little Xena was first listed on here back during the summer. She and her brothers had been born to an outside feral kitty and a good samaritan was looking out for them. The little family was even rounded up and taken to Capital to see if they could be adopted, but when they were going to be euthanized, the kind man who loved them returned to save them. Xena's brothers were both able to be socialized and quickly found homes. Because Xena was a bit more afraid, she was returned to the back yard where she has been living with her mom. Mom is just too shy to be adopted. But little Xena has come a long way. The nice man has been working with her and she is now very friendly and socialized. With winter coming, he would like to find Xena a good home inside where she will not be cold. While he will, of course, continue to look after Xena's mom, he would like for Xena to have a better life than that of an outdoor kitty. Xena is about 7-8 months old now and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, and been treated for worms.
