Gorgeous Long Coat Akita!
What a rare find! Mochi is a sweet tempered LONG COAT Akita who weighs about 70 lbs. She was neglected and had bad allergies and dermatitis, but she is being treated for both and will soon have a lush beautiful coat again. She has a very calm disposition, ignores cats and loves car rides. She is fine with other dogs as long as they are polite to her, but if they are rude she will let them know. She is very gentle with people and didn't even mind when the vets gave her shots! As soon as her skin is feeling better she will be available for adoption, but don't wait, put in your application NOW! Public shelters are overcrowded and have fallen victim to the economic crisis just like everyone else. Rescue Group...
|
| We specialize in rescuing Akitas , both purebred and mixes and from time to time other large breed dogs from high kill shelters, provide medical assistance if needed, assess them and find homes. We are truly the last resort for many dog that would otherwise be put to sleep. This is a act of kindness for those in most need & out of love for the dogs. We are an all volunteer organization that survives on donations. |

| We have an adoption agreement and ask that you keep us informed of the dog's whereabouts if you move or relocate and also that you maintain updated contact information with our organization. We ask for a tax deductible donation of between $250 - $500 to help us pay vet bills, rescue fees, boarding & transporting expenses. |
