Strawberry's story...
Strawberry and Blueberry  are sisters who were born in June 2009.  They are current on all vaccinations and are ready for a new loving home.  They would love a home together but can go their separate ways as well.  They have lived a sheltered life and been kenneled most of the time so they would love to be able to run and play and hunt like Beagles do.  For more info call Brenda at 423 733-8952 or 423 300-8222.  10/2009.

About Our Rescue Group...
The Grainger County Humane Society receives NO funding from our local government or other outside sources. The Humane Society exists on donations from private individuals, businesses and our volunteers' efforts. We DO NOT have an Animal Shelter or an Animal Control Officer. ALL work is done by our wonderful volunteers. Our long term goal and dream is to have a Shelter and an Animal Control Officer. We desperatly need Foster Homes, please help us out if you can.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption fees are $100.00 for Dogs or Cats. Senior Citizens (65 or older)get a special rate of $75.00.

We also have a special foster and adoption process for our Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes to ensure they go to good loving homes. They all must be micro-chipped at the time of adoption. For further information on Pit Bull Rescue you may call 865 767-3738 or email timssquaw@hotmail.com.
