Tom is a smart dog! He knows sit, shake, high five and lay down. (Although you have to bribe him with a treat to do it sometimes!) He loves to play fetch and actually brings you the ball! He also loves to play frisbee and is catching it sometimes, we've just started working on that. Tom loves to jump and catch bubbles too Tom is great with kids. however, when he gets excited, he does become a bit mouthy and jumps up (puppy phase sometimes so should be watched carefully around those he could accidentally knock over. Tom is between 1 -1 1/2 and is housetrained. Tom would do best in a household with another female dog or as the only dog .He loves playing with my young female lab and gravitates toward the young female dogs at the doggie beach to play with. Although he does great with all the dogs there. He does like to chase and has started chasing my younger cats and barking at them, so he should go to a home with no cats. Tom needs a fenced yard where he can run and play. He loves to go for walks and does pretty good on leash. Tom rides well in the car and on our pontoon boat. He automatically goes and lays on the doggie bed or the couch or futon at night, he seems to be trained not to sleep on the bed.He knows how to take treats nicely and loves to cuddle for short periods. He really isn't a demanding or needy dog and loves to give doggie kisses !

His adoption fee is $195.00 which alos includes microchipping.

Yes, we adopt out of state providing you have an approved application. In order to be approved for out of  state adoptions you MUST provide a vet reference and own your own home. We do NOT ship pets and require all family members  as well as other family dogs to meet the new pet.  We do not adopt outside of the US.
