Neutered Good with cats? not tested Good with children? not tested Good with other dogs? ok This is what Tom her foster home has to say about her, QUOTE: Flirtini is a perfect name. She arrived with painted nails and a baby blue rhinestone encrusted collar. Not kidding. She's a little thing. I'm guessing 10 pounds or so. Karen and I both think that she's pretty young. She's bony but she also looks muscular.. She's very lovable and became comfortable quickly. She's independent. Basically ignored Hugh and my daughter's BT who I'm sitting with this week. They are equally unimpressed with her. I just bathed her and she's chilling on the couch. She pee'd for Karen outside and again when she got here. That's a good sign. Not interested in running away. Just explores and comes on back. Also good. Nice coat, no major skin issues. Now the challenges. The paperwork says HW positive. She has a cough/ sneezes. Also, a goopy eye but not bad. I think that she has dental problems. Her breath is terrible and her teeth look bad. Plus, the poor thing has a smile that would qualify for an orthodontic school case study. It's actually cute in a backwoods kind of way. My first take is that she'll be an awesome pet after she gets her little issues resolved. I'm think that I'll be hosting her for a few weeks until the next northern trek. She should be no problem. Her teeth don't seem to bothering her. I'm thinking about putting some Altoids in her food bowl though. I'll try to get some pics and update when I can. END OF QUOTE. Tom's Next update QUOTE: She's a special little dog. She follows me everywhere. Laid back for the most part. Very independent. She's eating well and seems to have more energy. Loves attention. Basically disinterested in the other dogs although she and Hugh are starting to play some. Great personality and loves people. Not sure about potty training yet. She's only about a foot tall but she has a 6' vertical leap. Her coughing/sneezing is much better and her gunky eye has improved. Even her breath is better. A couple more weeks of good eating should put some meat on her bones. I'm thinking that all she needs is HW treatment and a dental tune up and she'll be top of the line. She'll be perfect for someone who wants a laid back, social, happy, loyal, loving pet. She's active but not rambunctious. She enjoys watching the action much more than participating. At the same time, she's neither scared or bashful. Like Karen said, she loves a car ride. END OF QUOTE. Wanda's note: Transport to us is October 24th. I will know more after vetting.
