Special needs: Cataracts This is what Linda has to say about Pinwinnie, QUOTE: Her name is Molly and she is 9 plus years old. I was told she was healthy by the LACC vet. She did say she has cataracts, but I don't think they are advanced because her eyes look clear. HEr vision seems ok. She gets along with other dogs and is very good with the adult humans that I have seen her with. She is very calm and accepts whatever you want of her. I was told her owner could no longer have an 'outside' dog at her residence so whe brought her into the LACC. I guess 9 years of devotion was not enough to earn her a place inside the house. LACC is a high kill shelter! Her owner stated she did have an incident where she snapped at (DID NOT BITE) a child that grabbed her. That was 4 years ago. There is no other incident of aggression in her lifetime. She is crate trained and doesn't complain in her crate. Maybe that is because she likes being indoors. She can hold herself from 8-10 hours in the crate. She did that at LACC. She never soiled her kennel. She is a very sweet girl who very much deserves to have the last years of her life spent with someone who loves and respects her. PINWINNIE ROYAL's Adoption fee is $275.
