Meet 2YO Boo Boo the little bear cub!
DOGS: I MUST go to a home with another dog. I love furry company and would like another to cuddle with. I can be shy at times, so another confident dog would help me stay out of my shell!
CATS: They smell soooooooo good! I am SO fascinated by these furry buggers that I can't think about anything else when one is in the room with me! I'm not cat aggressive by any means....but I'm WAY too nosy and although I've been swatted numerous times by the resident house cats, I can't stay away!!! Mom is still working with me....but it would be best to be in a home without cats. I have enough to worry about!
KIDS: I think I would be good with kids!
HOUSETRAINED: Doing great with training! But I am still a pup, so I will need some refresher in my new house with my new routine.
OBEDIENCE TRAINING: I have basic skills (sit & down) but would benefit from an obedience class.
CRATE SKILLS: I can do that!
LEASH SKILLS: I LOVE my daily walks and I do pretty well on a leash.
DROOL FACTOR: Not so much.
PERKS & QUIRKS: I'm a little afraid in new situations but warm up quickly. I will look to you or my dog-buddies to see what I need to do. I've got a bobble-head on a petite boxer body...which makes people laugh at me. I may not be the prettiest girl out there due to my hair loss, but I know I can win your heart if you let me! I'm a snorer and a snorter! I can also grumble and woo woo at you too! I do like to bark if I'm left outside.....so please make sure you bring me in when no people are outside or I might disturb your neighbors!
HEALTH STATUS: Boo Boo has demodex mange. We are treating her and her hair is growing back nicely!

Do you adopt out of the state of AZ? ABSOLUTELY! BUT ONE OF OUR REQUIREMENTS IS A HOME VISIT AND WE MAY NOT HAVE A VOLUNTEER IN YOUR STATE. Any other way we can meet one of your rescues? IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND AN EVENT, YOU WILL NEED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION (FIRST STEP) AND RECEIVE A HOME VISIT (LAST STEP) - THERE ARE STEPS IN BETWEEN! ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE ABLE TO MEET OUR RESCUES OUTSIDE OF ADOPTION EVENTS...WE CHOOSE NOT TO DISRUPT OUR FOSTER HOMES WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE 'JUST LOOKING'.
Why does it seem that most of your dogs are 'pending' or 'adopted'? By the time I see a rescue I'm interested in and start to fill out the application, they are no longer available! IF YOU HAVE YOUR HEART SET ON A SPECIFIC RESCUE, YOU MAY HAVE YOUR HEART BROKEN. OUR PROCESS IS QUICK, AND WE HAVE A GROWING WAITING LIST OF APPROVED APPLICANTS. THOSE ON THE WAITING LIST GET TO SEE OUR NEW RESCUES BEFORE WE POST THEM FOR ADOPTION AND START TO TAKE NEW APPLICATIONS.
Can I apply for a specific rescue? ABSOLUTELY! IT'S HARD NOT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PICTURES OF OUR RESCUES, BUT IT'S IMPORTANT TO KEEP IN MIND THAT NOT ALL DOGS WILL MATCH ALL HOMES - JUST LIKE ALL HOMES WON'T MATCH ALL DOGS. THE FOSTER HOME KNOWS THEIR RESCUE BEST AND WHAT TYPE OF HOME WILL BEST SUIT THEIR FOSTER. IF YOU HAVE SPECIFICS ABOUT COLOR, AGE, ETC. WE SUGGEST THAT YOU START THE APPROVAL PROCESS SO WE CAN FIND YOUR PERFECT MATCH!
