Hi! It's me, Brandy! I'm an 8 year old "Heinz 57".....you can speculate about what breeds I'm mixed with, but you could come up with about 20 different possibilities! I'm a beautiful light brown color and weigh about 40 pounds. I lived with a family who no longer wanted to keep me. I'm housetrained, which is a big bonus if you're looking to bring a new dog into your home. I love going for walks and can sometimes pull on the leash. I enjoy the company of other dogs. I recently went to an a large event where there were lots and lots of dogs and I enjoyed meeting everyone, both canine and human. I am a little rough when taking treats, so you'll need to hold your hand flat when you give me biscuits. I am very treat motivated and will do just about anything you ask in order to get some extra munchies:) I love to get pets from people and smooch willingly:) You'll be sure to get lots of kisses from me! I think I'm quite the catch but I encourage you to stop by and see for yourself what I have to offer!

Canine Rescue of Central PA, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c(3), all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing assistance to any dog in a helpless situation. While a young organization, we have made tremendous progress in establishing another valuable resource for our furry friends. It is our mission to get involved in as many situations as possible to provide sanctuary, shelter, and homes to as many dogs as we can. We also are very focused on creating strategic partnerships with other rescues and similar organizations in an attempt to share resources as well as expand public awareness of the overwhelming problem of homeless animals.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process encompasses several steps in an attempt to ensure the best possible placement of an animal with the most appropriate home. In addition to an application and time spent with the dog of interest, a home visit with the candidate is also a step in the adoption. We do charge an adoption fee as well as require the execution of an adoption agreement.
