| Turner is a beautiful dog that was abandoned on a high school campus. Unfortunately in that small town, the only animal control is a retired police officer and his gun. Poor Turner was identified as a stray and was scheduled to be shot on Monday. Luckily, we saw him and got him on a Sunday, the day before... His foster mom said he is the most well-behaved, mild mannered dog in the world and calls him her "Angel". We are all sad that anyone would consider shooting any dog, and especially this sweet Angel! The vet told us that at some point he had been hit by a car and has scabs on his body from that, but is otherwise healthy. Please let him into your heart and home. He deserves so much more than he has experienced so far! |
