Bo is a handsome boy looking for his forever home now that his owner can no longer keep him.

Bo is pretty much Lassie in a black and white coat. He has the fluffy, shaggy coat of a Rough Coated Collie but the markings of a Border Collie, he is a little taller then a Border Collie and is thicker like the Rough Collie, about 55lbs. Bo is very smart, willing and eager to please – he’d love to go to obedience classes with his new owner to learn more and bond, Collies love to keep their minds busy. He learns routine and commands quickly. Bo is house trained and crate trained but is fine given free roam of the home when left alone as long as the food is out of his reach! Bo is fine left for typical 9-5 hours. He is great with other dogs of all sizes, cats and respectful children of any age. Bo seems to know minimal basic commands but is generally a calm and well mannered boy in the home. He is active and loves a good walk each day, he would also enjoy visits to a fenced leash free dog park. Bo just wants to be with his people but will spend the day napping on a dog bed while you are away. He whines when he needs to go out and rarely barks aside from letting you know someone is at the door or happy yips when you are home from work. Bo’s coat does require some grooming to keep it soft and tangle free. Bo would be great as a second dog or on his own, he is active and would make a good jogging partner or agility dog but he is not hyper, a good walk each day is good enough for him. Bo is a great dog for just about any household looking for a more relaxed, easy going dog that is passed the mischievous puppy stages of life. Bo would love to find a family in a house with a fenced yard.
