Louie's story...
Louie is a true survivor. He was found, skin and bones, by two of Pound Rescues volunteers on the side of the road; starving. He was so nervous that he tried to run into a straw field, but he was so weak he could barely move. When he realized he couldn't get away he curled up in a tiny ball shivering with fear. They couldn't believe how fragile he was when they got him into the vehicle; he weighed next to nothing. Only days later, following plenty of TLC, Louie started growing strong and brave. He began to trust people, play with other dogs and add the weight he so desperately needed to gain. He now has a clean bill of health and is waiting to find his new family!
