| The Humane Society of the United States has estimated that one male and one female cat and their offspring will produce over 240,000 cats within seven years. In light of this frightening statistic and the suffering of stray and feral cats, we have come together to form Robin’s Nest. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation. Our mission is to reduce the cat overpopulation crisis by trapping, spaying/neutering and returning feral cats to their respective colonies. We provide each colony with food and water daily and some type of shelter. We also rescue adoptable stray cats and after spaying or neutering and providing other needed medical attention, we try to find them permanent, loving homes. Many times the cats we trap turn out to be friendly, lovable creatures that long for human affection. We provide foster care for these animals and seek permanent homes for them by advertisement and adoption clinics. |
