Chunkers's story...
Introducing the CASH FOR CHUNKERS PROGRAM!

You give us cash for the adoption fee, and you get Chunkers, an amazingly loving kitty. Chunkers was found on his own, an apparent big bruiser of a cat, sauntering about with a very confident manner. Yet put him next to a human being, and Chunkers goes all soft inside. He wants to be loved on in the worst way, petted, brushed and cuddled with great intensity.

Chunkers is not so much overweight as he is muscular - a large, masculine cat. (Although a certain operation will occur in this regard before he leaves the shelter for his new home.) He is remarkably beautiful, as well, and each time you see him, you notice something different about his markings. His fur is super soft and smooth, surprising for a big guy who's been out and about. Maybe Chunkers' most striking feature is his eyes, which shift from turquoise to seafoam to minty, depending on the light, and which gaze at humans with such adoration.

One fault of Chunkers must be mentioned: he is the jealous type. He will not stand for another cat about, and will make his feelings known right away. For this reason, we think Chunkers needs to be the sole household cat. But his size and extremely loving nature take the place of at least three other cats. Now that's a bargain!

Do you think Chunkers sounds like a good fit for your household? If so, please contact the Town of Hickory Creek Animal Control to meet him. And to see his precious personality, watch the video, below:
