Penelope's story...
Pretty Penelope is another sweet baby losing her home to divorce. Initially adopted as a tiny puppy from the shelter she is now a year old and doesn't understand why her owners don't want her anymore. She tries so hard to please them and make them happy. She plays with the other dog there and she loves their six year old son but it doesn't seem to matter how loving and well behaved she is - they just don't want her. Penelope is so pretty and such a gentle spirit. She gets a bit scared and shy at the adoption events but she soon gives gentle kisses and wags her tail. She REALLY loves the other dogs there and would probably do best in a home with another dog to play with. All she wants to do is please and have a warm and loving home that she can call her own forever. Penelope weighs about 45lbs, is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed and micro-chipped.
