Toby is an adorable little hound mix boy. He was born May 11, and at 5 months weighs almost 30 pounds. His mother is a small redbone hound mix (Ruby) and dad must have been really cute, too. Don’t you just love all those spots? Even though he has ‘hound genes,’ he’s much more at home in your lap or on the sofa than in the woods or the fields. Yes, he’s a bit spoiled! Toby is just getting to the age to seriously work on housebreaking. He will happily stay in his crate, but he does still have accidents if left for too long. This improves with age and persistence in training. Toby plays well with his foster siblings, and he doesn’t understand why the silly cats won’t play with him. He definitely needs a fenced yard to play in and a family who will work with training him, playing with him, and just loving him. He is such a sweet boy … very easy to love!
Toby is neutered, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped.

It takes an average of 7 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can expedite the process by providing email addresses for your personal references. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Toby picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
