D. D., which stands for 'Detroit Diesel,' because he was found at a large equipment/machine repair shop (Detroit Diesels are some of the types of machines they work on at the shop), is the office kitty right now. As you can see in the photos, he likes to hang out on the desk doing long calculations on the adding machine or making funny designs on the computer. He also likes to help Carol, his foster mom, open mail and he empties the trash baskets himself. Little D. D. was dumped near the machine shop and with some time and attention has turned into a sweet kitty. He was very scared, at first, but now likes to spend his time in the office with the people who helped him overcome his fears. His nickname is 'Scooter' and he is very small, almost like a kitten. He is a year old, however. He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, treated with Frontline, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV. D. D. likes to give hugs and he is a huge purr bug. He is getting to know people and he loves other cats. He also loves to have lunch with you as he is fond of people food. If you would like to adopt D. D., please download an application from the 'Adopt' page of our web site, www.bandocats.org, and either email it back to us or fax it to 614-873-0972.
