We’re not exactly sure what breed mix Dixie might be, but we know for sure that she is adorable and oh so sweet! Long and low, she is built like a little tank and that undeniably terrier face is so cute you just want to give her a big kiss. She is a low to moderate energy level pup and she gets along great with the other foster pups, the cats, and she especially loves people. She is fine with respectful children. Dixie is around 2 years old and weighs 35 lbs. She is housebroken and crate-trained and has very nice house manners. She walks on leash, but she would be so happy to have a new forever home with a fenced yard where she could play safely off-leash. She is very low maintenance, but she loves to get tummy rubs and ear scratches from her people.
Dixie is spayed, up-to-date on all routine vaccinations, and is microchipped.

It takes an average of 7 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits. You can help expedite the process by providing email addresses for your personal references. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Dixie picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
