Young male needs family!
I am a neutered male red and white Akita who is around 1 year old. I am quiet, affectionate & just a real good boy. I am young and have a lot to learn, but if you can be patient with me, we can grow together and I will be your loyal and faithful friend for life.
I need stability in my home life as I am very insecure and feel anxious. When I know there are always going food & toys in my life, I can finally relax. Can you give me a chance to feel loved?

Public shelters are overcrowded and have fallen victim to the economic crisis just like everyone else. Shelter dogs may not have long, so if you see a dog listed in a public shelter, please don't delay and contact the shelter ASAP. To avoid possible disappointment, we also strongly recommend that you make advance arrangements to meet a dog versus "just stopping by".

Rescue Group...
|
| We specialize in rescuing Akitas , both purebred and mixes and from time to time other large breed dogs from high kill shelters, provide medical assistance if needed, assess them and find homes. We are truly the last resort for many dog that would otherwise be put to sleep. This is a act of kindness for those in most need & out of love for the dogs. We are an all volunteer organization that survives on donations. |

| We have an adoption agreement and ask that you keep us informed of the dog's whereabouts if you move or relocate and also that you maintain updated contact information with our organization. We ask for a tax deductible donation of between $250 - $500 to help us pay vet bills, rescue fees, boarding & transporting expenses. |
