Tank was apparently put out in a neighborhood to make it on his own. Some of the people fed him and tried to find his owners but others were not so understanding of stray pets and called the animal control to pick him up. Being a sweet and friendly dog, he went right to the officers when they approached him. After a week in the slammer, he was scheduled to be put to sleep but we had a space open up and we took him in. Black Labs being a popular dog for adoptions, we're hoping he will find a home quick and we can make a space for another rescue. With a great personality and good on a leash, he'll make a good house dog for some lucky family.
