Lydia is our miracle girl. She was adopted as a kitten last August (2008). Then at the beginning of October, her owner called to say she had escaped from his apartment. After offering suggestions for what he could do to find her, he promised to let us know when she was safe. Three weeks later, having heard nothing, we discovered that Lydia was still missing. A volunteer went looking for her and found her one building over, living beneath a pine tree. She was much thinner, very scared, and dirty, but alive and well. Lydia is now back in our care and looking for a home where she will never be in danger again. She does well with other cats and loves people. She will lie in your lap for as long as you will let her. She has been back to the vet for a check up following her ordeal and was vaccinated, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, dewormed, and treated for fleas/ticks. Miss Lydia had already been spayed by our group in 2008. She is also microchipped. If you would like to bring a miracle into your life, please inquire about Miss Lydia. She is the sweetest and best girl you will ever want to meet.
