Description: Rufus is a wonderful boy. He is a black lab mixed with something larger as he is about 135 lbs. Despite his size, he's all love and sweetness. He has a good grasp of commands including sit, stay, shake, and come. In his current foster home he is around other dogs and kids and is doing great with all of them. At first he did not like another male dog in his neighborhood; however, after verbal correction, he is now getting along great with him. Overall, Rufus is just a big teddy bear, full of love.

Adoption events are held at Petco in the Greenbriar Shopping Center every Sunday from 1-4 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an adoption application filled out, two interviews with volunteers (this can be done at the adoption event), a home visit is required prior to the animal going to their new home. An adoption fee of $325.00 for dogs/puppies and a fee of $150.00 for cats/kittens.
