About Our Rescue Group...
Hounds of Hope is a 501(c) (3) non-profit dog rescue foundation that is passionately dedicated to saving the lives of adoptable dogs that are about to be euthanized in the high kill shelters of Los Angeles. We strive to find the safest and most loving homes for unwanted, neglected and/or abused animals.

We desperately need loving fosters! The more fosters we have, the more dogs we are able to save. You can play an integral role by providing the initial safe and secure environment for a rescued dog.

Fostering is an absolute crucial part of dog rescue. Without people opening up their homes to these dogs in need, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. So why be a foster you ask? You will get oodles of doggy love for all of your efforts! Please contact us to fill out a foster application if you are interested!! info@houndsofhope.com

Our Adoption Process...
In order to place a dog in a suitable home, we have a screening process which includes:

- If you're interested in an animal, we'll ask that you fill out a questionnaire, which we will review to ensure you and the dog you are interested in adopting are a good match.
- You will be asked to submit to a "house-check" to determine the level of safety and adequacy of the area for the dog.
- An adoption fee is required and you must sign the adoption contract agreement, which ensures that if, for any reason, you are unable to keep the dog, he/she to be returned to Hounds of Hope Dog Rescue only.
- Any additional donation would be greatly appreciated, and this portion will be tax-deductible. The donation goes to pay for all of the other animals in our care, many of which come to us with injuries or medical conditions that require treatment. Hounds of Hope Dog Rescue survives solely on donations and it is for this reason that the adoption fee is nonnegotiable.

-Hounds of Hope Dog Rescue reserves the right to cancel the adoption process at any time if the home situation or adoptive family has been misrepresented, if certain information was withheld, or if the dog is determined to be a better match with another family.
