You may copy/paste the following links into your browser to learn more about this breed: http://www.petfinder.com/dog-breeds/Silky-Terrier http://dogbreedinfo.com/silkyterrier.htm We have placed this fur-kid in puppy foster care. The foster updates on his/her likes & dislikes will help you know if this fur-kid is suitable for your home. The foster has a very important job, evaluating, loving, letting go to make room for another fur-kid at risk. You must be willing to housebreak this pup. We want adopters with the time & patience to train this adorable pup. To be there for him for all of his life. You will have the privilege of housebreaking this pet. We don't want to deprive you of everything. We have vetted this pet, evaluated his/her likes, dislikes. We saved this part just for YOU!! No fence! No problem! We prefer dedicated leash walkers. This little guy will be such a fun companion on your walks around the block, going for rides in the car. Just being with you to play and love. Out of state adopter? No problem! You must come take delivery of your pup. The foster mom will place him/her in your arms, see the glow of joy on your face. 10-07 Vinny is coming along nicely after surgery. He needs just a few days to recuperate, then will be ready for his very own fur-ever home. All the silkies have their "natural tail" & we did NOT have the vet dock it at this late age. -------------------------------- The adoption fee ranges from $175 to $325. The fee is based upon veterinary care, age & size of dog. The higher adoption fee on the younger small dogs helps care for the older dogs that take longer to find fur-ever homes. Senior citizens and disabled receive a discount. We also offer a discount to those in uniform keeping us safe. Land of the free because of the brave. Our adoption process begins with the e-mail or phone call to us. Please be prepared to furnish your complete name, address, telephone number, your veterinarian contact information & at least two personal references. We will then call you to ask a series of questions. Contact: 660-668-3567 |
