You may copy/paste the following links into your browser to learn more about this breed: http://www.petfinder.com/dog-breeds/Silky-Terrier http://dogbreedinfo.com/silkyterrier.htm We have placed this fur-kid in puppy foster care. The foster updates on his/her likes & dislikes will help you know if this fur-kid is suitable for your home. The foster has a very important job, evaluating, loving, letting go to make room for another fur-kid at risk. You must be willing to housebreak this pup. We want adopters with the time & patience to train this little guy. To be there for him for all of his life. We have vetted this pet, evaluated his/her likes, dislikes. ! No fence! No problem! We prefer dedicated leash walkers. Out of state adopter? No problem! You must come take delivery of your pup. The foster mom will place him/her in your arms, see the glow of joy on your face. 10-07 Rafferty is coming along nicely after surgery. He needs just a few days to recuperate, then will be ready for his very own fur-ever home. All the silkies have their "natural tail" & we did NOT have the vet dock it at this late age. -------------------------------- The adoption fee ranges from $175 to $325. The fee is based upon veterinary care, age & size of dog. The higher adoption fee on the younger small dogs helps care for the older dogs that take longer to find fur-ever homes. Senior citizens and disabled receive a discount. We also offer a discount to those in uniform keeping us safe. Land of the free because of the brave. Our adoption process begins with the e-mail or phone call to us. Please be prepared to furnish your complete name, address, telephone number, your veterinarian contact information & at least two personal references. We will then call you to ask a series of questions. Contact: 7 Bells 660-668-3567
