This little cutie is named Roma. She is a young dog who is just about one year old, and currently weighing 30 pounds. Roma is a very sweet and happy dog who gets along well with other dogs and is housebroken. Roma came to A Caring Place after she was found walking in a muddy ditch scrounging for food for herself and her puppies. This small and very young dog had several puppies when she was only around 7-8 months old. Thankfully, her rescuer saved Roma and all the puppies, nursed them back to health and contacted us for rehoming.
Roma loves to be nearby whether you are working at your desk or watching TV. She will, when told, go to her bed and sleep calmly in her crate at night. She will gladly sit and let you stroke her belly, endlessly. Her white tipped tail moves constantly when you speak to her, showing her joy and having a safe place to live. She walks gently on a leash and never barks at passer-bys. Even when my own dog starts the barking, Roma remains calm and observant. She gently and joyfully takes treats, knows the sit command, but seems to prefer to lay down belly up instead!
This wonderful smaller medium sized dog is seeking her forever family and home. She has been spayed, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, tested for heartworm disease and placed on monthly preventative, and microchipped.
