Sugarman - IL's story...
This Bichon was rescued from a commercial puppy mill and can only be placed in a home with a socialized dog already living there.
The children in the home must be over the age of 10.

My foster mom calls me Sugarman cause she says I'm a real Sweetie. I was rescued from a shelter after my breeder/owner turned me in and my foster mom says my days were numbered, whatever that means. I really am a sweet little guy weighing about 9 lbs and I was most likely born in 2005.

I'm still a little skittish but I am learning to love being petted and snuggled. Men still scare me but I am getting better with foster dad. I am learning to go outside to potty and I like going outside to my fenced yard. I am practicing walking on a leash and last time I out ran Nemo, my foster brother.

Sugarman is being fostered in IL
