| Gemma was a stray picked up 10/17/09 and is approximately 16 weeks old. She is a real 'gem'! She loves kids and other dogs, walks well on a leash and is now crate trained. She is a very quick learner as she also ((in the 1 week we have had her) goes potty outside on command. In fact, she will try every time you tell her to go...lol...whether she needs to or not! She whines if she needs to go out ALREADY! She is a real people dog and wants to be near you. Gemma will be on the small side, probably no more than 45 lbs. She has been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. She has also had her first round of shots and has been wormed. She will be scheduled for her spay next month. You better ask for an application QUICKLY cuz this lil lady will not last long! A.W.O.L. Rescue is located on the outskirts of Dallas Texas. The dogs/puppies were pulled from shelters in surrounding areas that were due to be euthanized had we not taken them in. It is our mission to place all of our ‘rescues’ with sound, loving homes. There will be an adoption application which must be completed and approved before adoptions are final. All of A.W.O.L’s rescues are fully vetted before adoptions. All dogs/puppies will be current on shots, worming and will be spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes.
