Electra's story...
Electra was found as a stray on the west side of town. She is a very sweet and loving dog but is nervous in new environments. She will need a family who will be patient with her to get used to her new home. She absolutely loves people and only takes a minute to bond to you.

She must be an only dog as she is selfish about her food and doesn't want to share with other dogs (we have not observed this with people). This is probably a result of living on the streets. She should also be placed with older children only just to be safe.

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends for Life Animal Rescue is a registered nonprofit, voluntere-based, no-kill organization. Started in 1993 Friends for Life maintains an adoption center for it's rescued animals, a low-cost spay and neuter program (grant-funded), and a network of foster homes. Friends for Life also attends off-site locations to adopt the homeless cats and dogs and the organization is always looking for help. Friends for Life does not have a veterinarian on site or on staff. We utilize discounted services at veterinarians kind enough to do so for our rescued animals.
