| TIKA is a handsome, friendly 1 1/2 year old boy. He is loving pet who wants nothing more than to be petted and loved, and to play. He’s growing up to be big and beautiful, and he’s quite sweet. He’s very anxious for loving attention from his humans, and would probably be good with an active family. Tika has lots of playful energy and would love to chase feathers and toy mice on a string, and play with other interactive toys – try a laser light! Tika was living on the edge, in an alley with no food, living in a parking lot behind a newly boarded up apartment building in Washington, DC. It’s likely he was left behind by a former resident. When first spotted by a 4Paws volunteer he was very, very hungry – he cautiously came up the alley to eat with some feral cats. She fed him, and he ate a huge amount, enough for four cats! So after a few days of his voracious eating, it became clear he was abandoned, and she took him in. Now he just wants to be petted, loved, play, and purr! He likes some other cats, but plays too rough with kittens – mostly he likes people. Tika is now neutered, and has his vaccinations. He is negative for FIV/FeLV, and is ready for a new home and family who will give him love and attention and provide a responsible forever home. |
