| Hey there - check me out! I'm Sumo - and I'm a real sweetheart! I'm 3 years old (10/15/2009) and weigh about 8 pounds - though I should only weigh 5... Before I came to A New Leash On Life, I hardly got any physical activity. I basically lived in a playpen 24/7 - but obviously, I got plenty to eat! Because of my previous situation, I am trained to eliminate on puppy pads. I do walk well on a leash, and I will go to the bathroom while on the leash or outside. I've just never been taught how to let anyone know that I have to go when I'm in the house! My ideal home will be with someone who is home a lot - someone who either works from home or works part-time. I love being with people as much as I can be. I will also need a person or people who can walk me regularly and let me run around a bit so I can keep working on getting my physique back! I like being held and I love sleeping in the bed with my foster Mom! I'm a very loving guy and my favorite thing to do is to just be wherever my people are. I will do best in a home without children - I prefer a quieter environment! I've been neutered, am heartworm negative, am up to date with vaccinations, and am on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
