| Lulu is a 2 yr. old Basset/Beagle gal. She’s endearingly shy when she first meets you & hides behind her foster mom but a few treats, some pets & a little playful rough-housing makes her a friend for life. She’s just adorable with her Beagle face & totally Basset body. She also has the familiar 'hound sound' when she wants to talk to you. She’s good with the other dogs & cat in the house. Because Lulu is very shy at first, I wouldn't put her with young kids. She needs a quieter environment where she would be lavished with love & affection. Lulu thinks she’s a lap dog so she would be a great companion for the couch potato types. However, she does need a fair amount of exercise & she should be kept at a decent weight because of her long back.
