Sasha's story...
Sasha doggie has come to us from someone who can no longer take care of her. Sasha is a cute, "economy size" pooch, who has missed very few meals, or snacks, or treats, but who is desperately hungry for affection and training. This is one dog who loves to be with people, and seems very smart. She learned the command "Sit" right away, eager to please the humans around her. We feel that she would benefit from being walked and exercised, and being fed a healthy diet. It may take some time, but Sasha is sure to regain a more normal weight with the right special human's help.

Sasha has gorgeous, slightly wavy fur, which is very healthy and glossy. This large girl has a big heart, too, and lots of love to give the family who sees beyond her figure flaws. The Town of Hickory Creek Animal Control serves the community of Hickory Creek, Texas. Our small town has a big heart when it comes to homeless pets! We make every effort to place each animal in its perfect forever home through networking, promotions and Adopt-A-Pet events.

The pet adoption fee is $100 and includes the following:

Dogs
Spay or Neuter
Rabies shot good for one year
Distemper Shot (DHLPPC)*
Heartworm Test (HWT)

*DHLPPC = Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospira, Serovars = 4-Way which is Caricola, Icterohae morrhagiae, Grippotyphosa, Pomona, Parainflueza, Parvo, Corona

Cats
Spay or Neuter
Rabies shot good for one year
Distemper Shot (FVRCP)
Leukemia Test (FELV/FIV)
