| p align="justify"> Arrival story: Saber's family had to give up their home and ultimately Saber. We are on the search for a great new home for this good boy! Approximate age / weight: 2.5 years old and 60lbs. Personality: Saber is such a sweetie and always has a smile on his face! He has wonderful house manners, is housetrained and does really well at the vet's office and riding in a car. He really does not like being crated but is a good boy when left to roam the home when no humans are home. He listens well and knows some basic commands and is working on not pulling on the leash. We think he'd like a job, maybe carrying a backpack with supplies on walks. Saber prefers to be with people, is a super cuddler and chin-kisser. He does love his belly rubs, too! Saber has lived with young children and did well with them. Forever home: Saber needs a home without cats and would probably do best as an only dog or with a female dog pal. Saber is relatively mellow but his nature is to be protective so we think he would do well with someone familiar with his breeds. Contact: Please contact Jodi at jodivon@sbcglobal.net Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Just complete the application and email it back to wtdr2008@yahoo.com Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $100 for senior dogs (9 years +), $275 for small breed dogs and $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group). Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only. Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog! |
