Millie's story...
We have all heard about the "black dog Syndrome" before and here it is again. At Adopt A Lab we take the dogs that need us the most. The last couple weeks all the yellows and chocolates have been adopted out of our member shelters leaving an unusually large amount of black Labs behind. Over the next few weeks we are making a concentrated effort to find these wonderful dogs great homes. For us, black Labs are the best and most overlooked dog in the shelter. Please become our partner in saving one of these lovely dogs and giving them the bright, new, happy home they deserve.

Our first very deserving black Lab girl is named Millie. She is a happy thoroughly wonderful dog with lots of love to give her new family. She was left behind when her family moved and she has settled in to her foster home beautifully.

Millie is a very adaptable girl who is good in new situation and has shown herself to be great with other dogs.

Her foster family would keep her in a heartbeat if they could. Her foster mom especially loves her and they are best friends. Millie follow her from room to room waiting for pats on the head or ear rubs.

Millie is up to date on all her vet care and ready for her new family. Please apply!

If you would like to adopt Millie, please submit an adoption application from our website, and see our other great Labs who are looking for their forever homes, happy tails, and more!
