This is Van Gogh (we had a name change, formerly Sunny), a four year old male Westie. Van Gogh is a darling male West Highland Terrier/Schnauzer mix. He is quiet and loving. He is good with other dogs especially if they are bigger than him. He is playful and fun. Unfortunately he was probably tied up and ignored in his previous home. He has rope burns on his neck and his ears are missing the tips. The deplorable conditions he was kept in have not jaded his trust in mankind. He's a nice, nice dog that deserves a second chance.
AMRT.net's small dog adoption program rescues dogs from local shelters and finds them loving homes. Our primary focus is the Long Beach shelter and we can be located primaily in the Long Beach area..
We bring our dogs to Petco in Long Beach, 6500 Pacific Coast HIghway at 2nd Street, part of Alamitos Bay Marina and next to Whole foods. We can meet people upon appointment and are there every Sunday at 11:00 until about 1:30
Our Adoption Process...
Our typical adoption fee is $200 which includes spay or neuter, mkcrochip, and all vaccines.
We have a simple adoption contract and our requirements are that the dog make sense in your home. .
