Hello! I am Molly and I am officially on a diet! I’m 12 years old and have had a bit of bad luck lately. You see, my friend Bubba and I were rescued from different shelters a few years ago and we were adopted by the same family. That family recently fell on hard times and we all ended up living in their car right here in Southern California. It wasn’t fun for any of us and the people soon realized that Bubba & I would be better off if Boston Buddies could find us a new home. When the nice lady from Boston Buddies first saw us she cried and cried. Bubba and I ate lots of fast food and we were both morbidly obese. I weighed 37 pounds and could hardly move because I have arthritis which wasn’t being treated. Ouch! We were really dirty and smelly too, but she could see through the problems we had and she knew that we both deserved a better life. So, she took us home, gave us a much needed bath and then got us to the vet for a complete once over. We’ve been in foster care for a few weeks now and we feel so much better! We’re eating good food and we have medicine for our ailments. I’ve already lost four pounds and I have a few more to go, but I’m well on my way! So, I’ve been spayed, brought up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested (negative), had a fecal test (negative), and I’ve been checked out and given a clean bill of health by Boston Buddies’ vet. I’m ready for my forever home. Can I come live with you? Please download an application at www.bostonbuddies.org Questions? Email us at contactus@bostonbuddies.org Adoption donation $150

Boston Buddies is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned, neglected or abused and placing them in permanent, loving homes. Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving, permanent families specifically interested in the breed. We do not have a brick and mortar kennel facility. Instead, we provide our rescue dogs with temporary foster care in private homes located throughout Southern California where we can assess their personality and preferences. All of our dogs are examined by a vet and provided all necessary medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and put on heartworm preventative.
Boston Buddies is always looking for volunteers to help with shelter checks, transport and foster home care. We invite you to visit our website – www.bostonbuddies.org
Boston Buddies adopts its dogs to loving and caring homes located in Southern California. We do not place our dogs in homes with children under the age of eight. The first step in adopting a Boston Buddy is to submit an Adoption Application which can be downloaded at our website, www.bostonbuddies.org. After a home visit with one of our volunteers and approval of the Application we will arrange meetings with dogs that will be compatible with the approved adopter. An Adoption Application and Adoption Fee is required, as well as follow up visits.
We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Boston Buddies services Los Angeles, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Kern and Orange Counties, as well as some surrounding communities. Because in person interviews, home checks and follow up visits are a part of every adoption, Boston Buddies limits its adoptions to residents of California.
