| Please meet Tipsy. She's a lovely and very beautiful black and white beauty, and she needs a new home. She's an adult dog, around 4 or 5 years old, so she's been there and done that with all that puppy silliness... she's a grown lady now and she promises to be all that you'd like her to be. She'll try hard to please you and we think she'll make a wonderful, wonderful pet for the right family. Please come to meet her soon. Oh - and she's already spayed! So one less thing you have to worry about.... And in the words of one of our volunteers: "An amazing dog! She is very intelligent. She knows sit, shake, and I think with some treats and encouragement she could beg up a storm too! This dog has obviously been trained before and would be perfect for any home! She is calm and good natured while very sweet and loving." This is a very small facility with limited space. Homeless animals come in each day, and there are many animals awaiting their turn to be placed up for adoption. If you adopt one or more of these pets quickly, it makes room for others to come up for adoption. Offering a foster home to an animal is also a way you can help save him/her. If you can foster an animal for an area rescue group, please email us at laccvols@gmail.com. We ask that you be within a short drive of Lafayette, Baton Rouge, or NOLA to foster for a local group. Adoption Fees-- Dogs: Males $58 Females $68 Cats: Males $53 Females $58. The shelter can accept CASH only. Fees are as listed (unless otherwise specified) and include vouchers for Spay/Neuter and a Rabies Vaccination. All pets leaving the shelter are micro-chipped. Tipsy - SPAYED! is spayed/neutered. |
